Meet Here Card respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles photos, visual meeting-point cards, on-device analysis, location, map services, permissions, and sharing.
Data Collection by the Developer
The developer does not collect, store on a developer server, sell, or use personal data from Meet Here Card for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
The app does not require an account or login and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Local Processing and Storage
Photos, annotations, manual mosaic, face detection, text recognition, route steps, card rendering, QR-code generation, history, and favorites are processed on your iPhone.
Saved cards and images are stored in the app’s private container on your device. You can delete individual cards or delete all saved app data from the app’s Settings screen.
When you send a photo to Meet Here Card from an iOS share extension, the selected photo is stored temporarily in a local App Group container shared only by the extension and the main app. The temporary file is removed after the main app imports it.
Camera and Photo Library
Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo.
The app uses the system photo picker when you choose an existing photo. The app receives only the photo or photos you explicitly select.
Permission to add a finished card to your photo library is requested only when you choose the save-to-Photos action.
Face Detection and Text Recognition
Optional face detection and text recognition use Apple’s on-device Vision framework. Photo content and recognition results are not uploaded to a developer server.
Recognition is used only after you choose the relevant tool. You can review and undo face-mosaic results, and you decide whether to reuse recognized text in the card.
Location and Apple Maps
Meet Here Card requests When In Use location access only when you tap the current-location button in the map picker. Your location is used to center the map and help you choose a meeting point.
The app does not continuously monitor your location and does not access location in the background. You can search for a place, move the map, or select a pin without granting current-location access.
Place search, reverse geocoding, and map imagery are provided through Apple Maps services. Information needed to provide those map features may be processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s privacy practices. The developer does not receive or store your location or map searches on a developer server.
Sharing
Meet Here Card opens the standard iOS share sheet only after you choose to share. Nothing is sent automatically. The card is provided only to the app, service, or person you select in the share sheet.
The Photos share extension imports only an image you explicitly select. If iOS does not open the main app automatically, the photo remains temporarily available on the device so you can open Meet Here Card and continue.
Clipboard
The app reads clipboard text only when you explicitly tap the paste action for a manual map link. It does not monitor the clipboard in the background.
Notifications, Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
Meet Here Card does not request notification access, require an account or login, display advertising, or perform cross-app or cross-website tracking.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated if the app’s features or data-handling practices change. The latest revision date will be shown on this page.
